Caribbean
Islands
A small island some 26 miles north of Antigua, Barbuda is much less developed but has its own special attractions. Renowned for its bird life, deserted beaches and excellent wreck diving.
By small plane from Antigua. There is also a ferry service from Antigua, but the crossing is inclined to be a bit rough.
The rough seas and treacherous reefs have provided Barbuda with around 200 wrecks to tempt the adventurous scuba diver.
