GLADIOLI
Theo van Aanholt
Theo began his career 25yrs ago as a salesman for a Dutch export company specialising in Gladioli. Using experience gained, he started his own breeding programme. This soon became too large to manage on his own, so other growers joined to expand the enterprise, which became the Forever Group.
Theo is now Commercial Manager for a number of grower-groups including Everglad, Horizon and Forever. These are responsible for well-known varieties and also the brand new Glamini type.
He gives an account of current production methods in the Netherlands and a roundup of the latest developments, including colour and variety trends.
