Two aspects of successful Narcissus disinfection treatment are brought together with two knowledgeable speakers.
Gordon Hanks worked as a crop scientist specialising in flower bulbs (especially daffodils) at GCRI and Kirton before "retiring" from full-time work in 2007 to become an independent consultant. Gordon will cover the science behind the latest developments in bulb disinfection.
Lin Secker and his wife Doreen founded Secker Welding in 1977 and the company has grown to be the leading UK manufacturer of HWT equipment, used by the majority of British growers. Lin shows how the right disinfection equipment can contribute to a healthy crop.
