TRADING WITH THE MULTIPLES: THE NFU INITIATIVE
Guy Poskitt, NFU Horticulture and Potatoes Board
Guy Poskitt is Managing Director of MH Poskitt Ltd, a family owned farming business based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, specializing in the growing of root vegetables for leading supermarkets. Guy is NFU County Chairman for West Riding of Yorkshire as well as a member of the NFU national Board for Horticulture and Potatoes, where he took on the role of Acting Chairman for six months during 2013. Guy was named Farmers Weekly Farmer of the Year in 2012 as well as Arable Farmer of the Year. Judges commended Guy for his work with his customers, collaboration with buyers and farmers and for seeking added-value and cost saving opportunities at every turn to create a business that had increased three-fold in the past decade.
Joint meeting with the NFU - they are holding their branch AGM before the meeting and the audiences will combine.
